Jonathan Johnson played professional baseball for 10 years , playing at the major league level for 6 of those years. He attended Florida State University where he was the ACC Freshman of the Year, a Freshman All American, two time All American, two year All ACC team, voted the 1995 ACC tournament MVP, and voted Florida’s 1995 Amateur Player of the Year. He represented his country playing for team USA in 1994. He was drafted in the first round, 7th overall, by the Texas Rangers in the 1995 amateur draft. He has since been voted on the all century ACC team and has been inducted to the Florida State Hall of Fame. He started a baseball ministry in 1996 that uses baseball to share Christ in Latin America. To learn more about this ministry go to
